youth: Jul. 29, 2002 (9:14 am)

a week ago last night andrea was asked 'what was the happiest moment of your childhood?' and no one was asking me, but i answered everything in my head and i could not remember. i just recalled torturous moments from every year, with every friend. and i don't think i've really ever been forgiven for anything.

but listening to the radio (flash back to the 90s) i remembered dancing around my room to my poor reception of rock bands. and i remember crafts projects. i would've been a better jock, i would've been a better intellectual if i had played youth soccer, and read lots and lots of books. but i didn't really. i never found anything liked as much as the chronicles of narnia.

and the house music was fucking riot grrl. and they covered their ears, i smiled. so someone else listened to bratmobile?
