after i told max that i believed that we all seek freedom and freedom is between opressing and being opressed he told me i was fucking brilliant. when i told someone else they asked what i meant by opress. and i need people like that.

and i've realized that principle isn't enough to rule the world. i forgot honesty. and i forgot respect. which are the two things i went back on when i started using that philosophy as an excuse.

you know what. i think a better question to be asking myself is why didn't i leave when i wanted to?
