while mirah played, i wrote "earlier outside, i looked and you look at me and wondered if i gave you my number if you would call me" on the back of a whole foods receipt that i placed in the hand of the sound engineer when he checked the speaker i was standing under and cameron looked at him write one note and crumple it up and write another note and crumple it up and finally put his arm next to mine on the divider between the backstage and the audience to respond "come have a cigarette with me after the show."
