to longer days: Jan. 10, 2004 (10:21 pm)

in a car in a cul de sac we rotated pants so i could get out of the ones i spilled tea on while waiting earlier this afternoon. caitlin's pants don't have back pockets so i had nothing to do with my hands when i talked. the show reminded me of my birthday party only i felt far away from a lot of people from whom i don't like to feel far away but also people listened to my stories more. so mostly i didn't feel nervous or stupid. just there. me and caitlin left on our own and had a one on one dinner and one on one is just what i've been missing.
