eli was quieter in english today but he made a nice comment about how it's easier to fulfil goals of power than it is to fulfil goals of love. i said something about how to hamlet, ophelia and gertrude aren't innocent and even if he finds the women less guilty than claudius they are at least an opponent that he knows how to face. so, he does. i hurried out of school because i felt like walking to the parking lot alone because i can't stand the conversations out of convenience anymore.
