today, my english class was unruly. my teacher passed out raise high the roofbeam, carpenters i smiled for a while and whispered to my neighbor. my teacher said, "okay now the world is over; annie is speaking out of turn." my neighbor said, "that's okay, it was literary. would you like me to repeat it?" "yes." he puts on an excited, quiet voice, "i used a quote from this book i one of my essays." everyone laughed but it was okay because now i have a chance to reread another salinger book.
