when the phone rings and i'm sitting on my bed reading, i assume it will be david because it was always david. and i get kind of sad when my mom picks up the phone and just keeps talking. he asked when i was going to visit and i answered with maybes and near-bys. today i got a package from cameron. her handwriting is larger and more relaxed, i wonder when that happened. she started a letter, crossed it out, wrote "nevermind, hey, life is all right!" and closed the note with a good bye with xs and os.
