cameron says i sound thirty somedays but caitlin says i'm too much of kid. the girl at the jazz club thought i was out of college but the waitress knew i couldn't drink and i get asked where i'm working now and i get called a little girl at community service. last night a man my brother's age introduced me as his friend annie to a documentary film maker who smoked and drank and talked with me while leaning close because it's too loud to talk there if you really want to hear unless you whisper in ears. maybe this year we will work together and i wonder if he won't smile when he hasn't been drinking and when i look pale and seventeen.
