me and caitlin were looking at the pictures of soldiers. she said that they looked like kids playing dress up, especially the girls. she imagined that the girls should get more fitted uniforms like in the 1940s. when i write about it i wish had done something triumphant, like tell her how fucking dumb + shallow she is. but i'm not really that angry so i just asked how many of them she thought would be dead in a year.
