i was driving around listening to the secret tape we made. playing loudly. i think i forgot to defrost my rear window. i think i forgot to turn on my lights. i didn't even think about you. i just smiled and looked around at winter. i feel like i do when i'm with you: not writing in my head, just existing. alone, now. beautiful.
