once, after spending two months staring at each other at work with wide excited eyes, we walked down harvard street in brookline and got dinner at the vegan chinese restaurant i hadn't been to yet and a movie and a bottle of wine and stephan got a call from his roommate and stayed on the phone while i walked along silent and he put his hand on my braid and pulled it out of my sweatshirt before we had kissed and unbuttoned and buttoned each other but now we spend work normal and i spend work nervous and taking cigarette breaks with seamus and unconsumated smiles.
