while talking to david, i said that i felt bad when i quoted him. because i was trivializing his lyrics and making them sound funny when i really love them. i was a fan before i was a friend. i told him i seriously quoted one line yesterday. i wish you could look at a girl for what she is not what you want and he said when he wrote it he was hoping someone would quote it.

as i'm having trouble with weconfess piece i feel like such an ideal fan, and less like a person myself.
