he asked if i wanted to know why he couldn't go. and it wasn't lack of desire. it wasn't some other girl. it was his friend's preformance of the wiz. and it's odd that i thought he was just making an excuse.

he asked if he could come to a show with caitlin and me. and that, the reason, the phone call in the shop made me feel much better.

caitlin's really wonderful because i said what was wrong. and she understod. and we talked about it. and maybe i'm too fatalistic.
