it hasn't been the type of music that has caused me to gasp at the lyrics in a long, long time. it all failed existentially; looking too far away. and not thinking of themselves at all. we sing about peace while teenage boys keep the weaklings far, far away.

don't look far away. there's no need to.

i think about you two. how i never smiled, how we never discussed, how we thought we knew everything. there's something beyond two.

i hope no one else ever cares why your day was how it was. i hope everyone else you meet in your life is content with formalities and required answers. but most of all i hope you get hungry for something else. and start asking them why. i hope you can come back some day.
