in the mornings i wake up and hold a mug of ginger lemon tea until it cools enough to drink and pack my bag and eat corn flakes in 3 sacramento st and walk through harvard to central square to drink a cup of coffee but mostly to read (the story of art, the symposium, european philosophers from descartes to nietszche) and today i came home and ben came over to listen to the three later raincoats albums and left when i went to cook and listened to the kitchen tapes (and allison washed her hands at the sink and recognized the music from a decade ago) and we ate in the dining room and we went back to my room and we drank beer on the porch and we ate french fries at harvard house and i came back and read marceline desbordes-valmore on the porch of my house.
