today, after watching episodes of twin peaks with ben until four in the morning, i woke up at noon which is the latest i have ever slept in my life. normally, because of the hills and maybe because of something from seeing brett, i take less time to bike home from jamaica plain than i take to bike to j.p., but tonight was all off and it took me just over an hour to get back into my apartment where i had hoped to sit down with l'assommoir but instead built myself another ashtray out of tinfoil and smoked and wrote e-mails to prospective employers that i found on the internet and got my hopes up about something that wasn't romantic.
