i'm not sure if i'll ever feel unnomadic even if i settle in a single city because i will always be traveling between abdul telling me he tried the frozen tofu dish i like that was naaasty, brett taking me on walks around his grocery store, leon breaking off too much banana for me to eat and biting of another bit before handing me my piece and mike facing me in the nascent rain darkening his red sweatshirt and green t-shirt below the few hairs at the bottom of his neck which seemed tremendously ugly on another boy this weekend last year but yesterday fell in inoffensively to the tableau of the silent, looking end of a short conversation when i stopped talking and noticed he was vaguely beautiful.
