one thing for sure: things work out. after a year of stops and playing dress-up with my future, i found options, a job which gives me a two day work week and a five day weekend, and people whose actions are nice to think back on not because they necessarily serve as a promise of better times but because i remember myself smiling at the moment and not just from retrospect.
