people i love are in california, which is a place that jake and i loved from nostalgia in middle school. brief moments were spent yesterday sending and recieving messages from the opposite coast, but a brief moment was also spent with jake's hand on my waist at a party while he asked me if i felt well now that school was out and i wondered if i really looked like i felt that bad when school was in session and if he didn't sense the stiffness of my back under his hand as i looked at the rest of the party and mummbled something inconsequential and possibly unheard.
