in front of me in line, eli and gabe were passing back and forth an extra plate which i handed back to a boy i've hardly talked to who said "wait, wait" and took a fork off the table and put it on my plate and then told me "i saw you walking in takoma park with your friend" which must have been back in novemeber. silences are easier to break than you would ever think.
