saturday at a show, i smiled only when we sat in andy's car listening to some amazing six minute song by some distant band. during the encore the other night i kept hoping for the last song so i could get back to my car and listen to a live album of a show that i loved and that i keep repeating in private. maybe i'm going to the wrong places if the best part is going.
