can't stand still: Oct. 31, 2003 (7:09 pm)

rush hour didn't feel so rushed yesterday. there were girls on the el with ice cream and orange flowers and violins. i'm back home now. people's voices sound loud and angry and i don't know why we're doing what we're doing if it just makes us speak loudly and angrily.
