singing with the dead: Oct. 22, 2003 (7:31 pm)

today i didn't have to drive anyone to school and i enjoyed that because i listened to joan of arc on my walk to school and my mouth gaped as i tried to discern what i was hearing. on my walk home it was raining hard. on the other side of the safeway i saw one of the two people i know besdies me who didn't play team sports as a child. like buddy's dwarf, he waved at my grandly and perfectly. i smiled and waved back without thought. since then, i've been thinking about calling my old teacher to see if he can use my help at the jazz radio staion he works at because all i've been doing is procrastinating and crying sofly in my bedroom.
