my mom says my grandfather was the first person against the vietnam war. i guess after world war two he just didn't like the idea of another war. i can imagine him sadly reading the morning paper over a balanced breakfast like i sadly read the front page of the paper in the display box in my walk home. my grandmother casually asked me why i didn't like isreali bonds and i couldn't speak. i laid the phone down and looked at my mom nervous. i don't like dissapointing people. my mom picked up the phone and covered for me. she says my grandmother agrees with me so i suppose i come from a long line of reasonable people i'm just the only fearful, inarticulate one.
