i've been thinking of categories and grostesques. of girls waiting for knights and tough boys and kids hungry for repetition. one of my best friends says he's a novelty. i don't really see him that way; but maybe i did a year ago. i don't know if i have some epithet, some niche, some home. i don't think i do but i seem to have a lot of rules. i don't feel like keeping promises and i'd like to get away from a lot of obligations. i'll be in vermont for a week. i think i'll feel freer but i'll remain me.
