i have a friend who's taking a break from saving the world in africa by saving her soul in paris. i have a coworker who grew up in the midwest, spent his twenties in the east and is now headed out west. i'm in my room. next week i'll be in the northeast. we've been spending time with people i know i won't be spending time with one day. it's tiring so i'm staying in tonight. i can't be charming all the time.
