the catcher in the rye is a classic because we're a nation full of holden caulfields but i only know one boy who has a strong resemblence. that's not to make his sound better and you worse. really, it just makes me feel sad. anyway, if we're a nation full of holden caulfields why don't we leave lonesome places? or even acknowlege why we don't want to go? lately i've been reading books that everyone else has read and wonder why we don't really react but just smile at the clever words.
