david combs said that some kids in his african american lit class don't believe slave narratives are true. i don't understand why people would write novel of lies. i believe everything i read. sometimes, i even make stuff up. i believe that too. the fear is real, even if it's not.

michael said behind every fear is a wish. i miss him. he made every place where he wanted to be. that's true.
