i was reading the newspaper over the shoulder of a man who was sitting next to me on the metro. the ins is going to deport a sixteen year old boy. (and i guess it's common but we don't want to talk about.) he asked if was in college. and i said no, high school. he said he probably shouldn't be talking to me. so he asked if i had a boyfriend. and then asked, 'why not?' i said i don't know

but i have this problem. that when i start to like one person i start to love all their friends too. and there's nothing you can do then. everywhere you go, you lose. better just to stay like this. yeah, better just to stay like this for a while.
