i have not heard these (rites of spring) songs in a long long time. they sound better than they did before

i'm not who i thought i was

last year i was so wrapped up in meaning. i wanted someone who i meant something too. that so easy to claim, harder to prove and nearly impossible to see. often it's all an act. i just want to be around people who enjoy being around me. that's it. and it's happening.
