i kept zoning out during the speaches. and i looked over a mary, away from us, who has pushed up to see better. and i'm sort of ashamed that i'm not as enthralled as she.

but i watched her smoke most of a pack of cigarettes in a few hours.

so maybe no one's really ok on their own.
